A reactor for cavitation-enhanced bioremediation experiments on cell suspensions

Ultrasound has long been used for killing or disrupting cells and has increasingly been shown to be effective for enhancing a number of biological processes which may have significant beneficial effects.

Acousto-optic sensing and imaging

We are working to develop a table-top AO sensing system using laser optics technology in the near IR regime at 1064 nm.
